Projects

McClellan Air Force Base

  • New Order Environmental Services, LLC (NOE) was commissioned by SIA Solutions in May 2016, to provide, GIS mapping and data processing, radiological GPS survey equipment, and technical training and support. SIA Solutions was contracted to perform final status surveys of excavations performed by Tetra Tech at McClellan Air Force Base in McClellan Park California, of subsurface potential release plumes. New Order Environmental was tasked with providing the radiological detection equipment capable of pairing with GPS equipment for low energy gamma surface scans and geospatial mapping. New Order was also tasked with processing the gamma GPS walkover data into surface maps containing the radiological data plots through the use of licensed ArcMap, and Pathfinder software. The work scope also required New Order Environmental to generate maps from Z score calculation values performed by New Order technical staff, for all data collections. In addition, technical training and support for field radiological survey technicians was also tasked to New Orders technical staff. The excavations and radiological support for field efforts is expected to run through the fall of 2019.

Testimonial

Tetra Tech (McClellan) is currently excavating two former radioactive waste burial sites.  By their very nature there are several challenging aspects to these projects.

New Order Environmental had been contracted by SIA (our Radiological Service Contractor) to provide development, preparation, and execution of critical graphs and maps from data collected via our Radiation / GPS instrumentation.  I have had contact with New Order Environmental staff on several occasions.  They have been quick to provide recommendations demonstrating a high level of resourcefulness and good judgment when dealing with unusual field conditions frequently encountered during these projects.  To date their project performance has been within budget, schedule, and my expected high level of quality. I must add that the New Order Environmental staff have conquered each new challenge, welcoming each experience, and emerging as the rarest and most motivated group of individuals I have had the pleasure working with during my time here at Tetra Tech.

Thank you for the opportunity to endorse New Order Environmental.”

  • New Order Environmental Services, LLC (NOE) was contracted by Solutient Technologies, LLC, to provide, GIS mapping and data processing, radiological GPS survey equipment, in support of characterization efforts of a former Dow Cameron Oil and Gas, fracking site for the Ohio Department of Natural Recourses (ODNR). Point of Interest investigations as well as bias sampling locations identifications were included in the final submittals. The project was successfully concluded in December 2015.
